Ryan Thum practices in the Domestic Relations Department of Poole Mahoney PC. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Thum’s practice included divorce and custody issues. He has extensive litigation experience. While in law school, Mr. Thum was a member of the Phillip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Team, a member of the Final Four of the Intramural Moot Court competition, Constitutional Law tutor and executive committee member of multiple student organizations. Prior to entering law school, he was a teaching and research assistant at Appalachian State and recognized as a Volunteer of the Year by the local Youth Network. He was admitted to the Virginia Bar in 2007 and the North Carolina Bar in 2010.
